Celtic Community

  Austin is home to
  many wonderful
  communities.  The
  Celtic community
  is one of her most
  active & celebrated.

  Although the St.
  Patrick's Festival
  benefits the Celtic
  Cultural Center
one
  of Austin's most
  active Celtic
  groups, we are
  pleased to use this
  venue to help
promote some Austin's best Celtic groups.  Stop by their booths at the festival and find out how you can get involved.  No pedigree needed! Many of our most active volunteers have no Celtic blood whatsoever. All races, religions and creeds are Irish on St. Patrick's Day, joining one of our great organizations will keep you stay Irish all year round!

  Gaelic League
   of Austin

  Stop by their
  booth to signup for
  Irish language
  classes and
  browse their
  books and
  reading materials
  written in the
  Gaelic Language.
Gaelic Leagues exist all over the world, the oldest one started 300 years ago to help preserve the Irish language and culture.

  The Austin Celtic
   Association

  The group
  responsible for
  the largest Celtic
  gathering in
  Central Texas
  (Austin Celtic
  Festival
) will be
  there.  Sign up to
  volunteer at the
  Festival coming
up in November or grab you chance to pick up one of their cool Celtic tshirts.
